I created a squirrel mascot for an Ai Daily Challenge with Kladi (August 4 - 14). I sketched the squirrel first and then I used the pen tools to trace the squirrel. I used the pen, pencil and the smooth tool to create the rocket, flag, and the globe. I played around with the brush tools and shadowing to create a more dynamic effect.
One of my mistakes making the squirrel is that I forgot to add layers with the body parts. Hence, I had to do some manipulation of the squirrel when I needed to edit him. Lesson learned!
The squirrel was created to represent Space Kids as a place of adventure for learning, exploring, and having fun with space.
